It was just a perfect match for a weekend getaway in Basildon with reasonable price. The traffic noise made it hard to sleep, though, quite annoying. If you're sensitive to sound, consider bringing earplugs.

Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean, large double bed, tea and coffee. There was a wedding reception on in the club but they finished fairly early, would defo visit again

I greatly enjoyed this property - recently renovated and exceptionally comfortable hotel.
Everything was good, marvellous location next to restaurants and a supermarket as well as retail park, such great experience. I booked decent size functional room with 2 single beds. Overall the service was friendly. I could park the car on site.

We had 15 rooms for our hockey team ahead of a big match in Chelmsford. All the girls thought the hotel was perfect for our needs. Great value for money, very clean & staff were very friendly & helpful.

the hotel's position was favourable, to the festival retail park. there were central heating, television and coffee/tea making machines in the room, really enjoyed that. the bathroom was particularly good with bathtubs.
